In the '80s, everyone who went to the Premiere Vision in Paris fought over their shopping samples from Agnès B and Loft. Back then, basics were fashion's mot du jour.
Now that fashion is once again obsessed with everything '80s, it's time to pimp up those basics and translate them into a modern urban look for 2008.
The result is a new, minimalist kind of deluxe sportswear made out of quality fabrics like woollens in a wide range of dark colours.
The somewhat severe look makes a surprising contrast with the handmade-looking graphics, inspired by contemporary street art. These sprayed stencil and graffiti decorations are used in an unexpectedly clean and minimal way.
